What if I don’t eat Paleo?
Our meal plans focus on using real, fresh, and in-season ingredients. We do not use processed foods or artificial ingredients, which is good for everyone. You may not currently eat Paleo, but you might just find you love eating based on what is real, fresh and in-season.
Why don’t the meal plans have seven meals for the whole week?
We understand that everyone’s schedule and needs are different. Some families like to go out once a week, and most people have their favorite recipes or staple recipes they make on a weekly or semi-regular basis. We’ve found that providing structure and support for four weeknight meals with some leftovers allows for the flexibility and customization that most families desire.
How many servings does each meal make?
Each meal is for four servings with the exception of our one larger meal, which is designed for leftovers that can be used for dinner another night during the week or for lunches. There is also a larger breakfast recipe, which is designed to make ahead and reheat throughout the week. Our recipes can easily be halved, doubled or tripled to fit your family size.
What if I don’t want to make one of the meals?
We understand you may want to omit a meal from time to time. No problem. Each ingredient in the grocery shopping list is labeled with which meal it pertains to, so if you wanted to omit a particular meal, you could easily cross those items off the shopping list.
I’m a cooking novice. Will cooking these meals feel manageable?
We cut out much of the leg work, allowing you to feel organized and prepared for a successful week. We focus on using quality ingredients and keeping it simple. You don’t have to have tons of ingredients or a multitude of steps to create a healthy, flavorful dish. Anyone can prepare and enjoy our meals!
What if I have additional dietary restrictions (i.e. nut-free, dairy-free, nightshade-free)?
Our meals are always free of grains, gluten, legumes, soy, refined sugars, and processed foods. If we use dairy there will either be a substitute or it will be optional all together. If you have additional dietary restrictions, email us at support@realsimplegood, so we can work on additional substitutions. We are happy to help!
Will I save money?
The goal of meal planning is not only to make your life easier and help you reclaim some time to spend on doing what matters most to you, but also to reduce waste and promote eating out less, both of which should save you money!
