Why this recipe is a new staple for us

  • No planning or thawing necessary, we just season the frozen shrimp and air fry them!
  • Usually we use the simple seasoning mix in the recipe, but we’ve also used it with a pre-packaged seafood seasoning (Old Bay) and it’s amazing!
  • We love that shrimp pairs well with just about any side so it’s the perfect weeknight dinner (especially when you don’t have plans and need to get something on the table quickly)!

Ingredient & recipe notes

  • Shrimp size – We used 51-60 size shrimp for 8-9 minutes. Size 21-30 will cook in about 10-12 minutes.
  • Seasonings – We used smoked paprika, thyme, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and sea salt. You can really use any of your favorite seasoning combos though. We also love using just salt and Italian seasoning for something super simple.
  • Preheat your air fryer – Don’t skip this step. Even if your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function. Just get it going for 5 minutes before you put the frozen shrimp in for the most even cooking.
