  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°
  2. Mix up the buttery lemon garlic sauce
  3. Brush the sauce all over the tilapia
  4. Cook for around 10 minutes, flipping halfway

Lemon Garlic Tilapia Ingredients

  • Tilapia fillets – Most large air fryers can fit 3-4 medium tilapia fillets. Adjust servings as needed in the recipe card below.

  • Dried oregano, parsley and salt – If you have fresh herbs on hand, you can use those!

Tilapia in the Air Fryer vs. Baking

We love using the air fryer for this recipe because it heats up quickly and cooks the tilapia super fast.

However, this recipe can also be made in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer. Simply follow the recipe instructions and place the fish in a baking dish to cook in the oven at 400°.

In the oven, your fish may take a couple of minutes longer to cook, so watch it at the end and extend the cooking time as needed depending on the size of your fillets.
