What gluten free flours do you use?
For gluten free and Paleo friendly baking flours, we always use Bob’s Red Mill and have for years. You’ll see us using their flours in lots of our recipes – from sweet treats like our gluten free lemon poppy seed muffins to savory dishes like our creamy Tuscan chicken! We love the quality of their products from mill to table and the fact that they’re a local Oregon company!
In this air fryer chicken nuggets recipe, we used Almond Flour and Tapioca Flour. Both flours are certified gluten free and non-gmo as well. We mixed the flours with some simple seasonings. It’s the perfect combo for lightly breaded chicken nuggets!

Love this recipe! We used chicken tenders and worked just as well as chicken chunks. Parent and toddler approved! Thank you!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for coming back to leave a rating and review, we appreciate it 🙂
I want to make these for my kids, but they can’t have eggs. Any replacements?
You could use milk or a nut milt to coat the chicken with instead of eggs. Hope your family enjoys the recipe!
You don’t specify how much milk in the instructions? Excited to try this for my toddlers!
Hi Mandi – you don’t need any milk actually, the eggs work fine for the initial coating. I’ve updated the post. Enjoy!
