What our readers are saying
This was delicious! Marinated pork tenderloins and pan seared them. We did marinate overnight since we could, then took your suggestion to use the leftover marinade as a sauce after boiling and reducing it. It was awesome!!

Perfect for chicken, steak, pork and seafood
I love that this marinade will work with just about any protein you want! Our favorites are:
- Honey Garlic Chicken Marinade – thighs are our favorite. Breasts work, too.
- Gluten Free Marinade for steak – we love a skirt or flank steak with this marinade. You could also use it with a beef roast in the slow cooker or instant pot. In the case of a roast, no actual marinating necessary. Just throw it all in there and let it do it’s thing.
- Pork – this would be great for cooking a pork roast or butt in the slow cooker or instant pot. No actual marinating necessary. Just throw it all in there and let it do it’s thing.
- Honey Garlic Salmon Marinade (or Shrimp) – Let the salmon or shrimp marinate for as little as 20-30 minutes before cooking. Or, just heat up the sauce while the protein is cooking and then pour it all over the top once cooked.

Recipe Tips
- 2 pounds of protein – This recipe yields about 3/4 cup of sauce and is perfect for about 2 lbs of any protein (chicken, steak, pork, seafood). Scale up or down as needed.
- Freezer friendly – You can freeze your marinated protein (any protein except seafood) for up to 3 months – just defrost it in the fridge overnight and cook as desired.
- Leftover marinade – I like to baste my protein with the leftover marinade while cooking on the grill because it adds an extra layer of flavor. Just bring the leftover marinade to a boil in a small saucepan to kill any bacteria and baste away or use it as an extra sauce to pour on when you serve.
We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Sounds amazing Courtney, this is a good one for pork tenderloins 🙂
