We use our crockpot all the time, and here are the reasons we love it.
Set & Forget – A little prep goes a long way. Most of these recipes require only prepping the main ingredients and cooking them on low or high for 4 to 8 hours.
Batch cook & meal prep – We cook a lot, so we try to batch cook and meal prep when we can. The crockpot is great for cooking a big batch of meat or soup that you can have for leftovers.
Slow and low is the way to go – I love our Instant Pot, but I really prefer cooking things like beef and pork roast in the slow cooker. The low heat gives you the perfect fall apart, shreddable meat every time.

Prepare all of the ingredients as noted above, and add all of the ingredients, except for the garnish ingredients, into your crockpot or Instant Pot in the order listed above.
