With crispy skin and a fluffy middle, these air fryer baked potatoes are our new favorite way to make baked potatoes. Load them up with your favorite toppings and and dig in!
Scrub potatoes clean and rinse with water. Pat them dry.
Poke holes in the potatoes with a fork, 3-4 pokes per side.
Drizzle oil over the potatoes and rub it all over the skin with your hands. Sprinkle sea salt over the skins of the potatoes.
Preheat air fryer to 400° fahrenheit if your air fryer requires preheating.
Place potatoes in the air fryer, leaving space around each potato for air to circulate.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Notes
Adjust the cooking time based on the size of your potatoes. 45-50 minutes will work great for medium-sized russet potatoes. Larger potatoes will need to cook longer and smaller potatoes will need less cook time.
When checking the potatoes, I suggest slicing one open and "fluffing up" the insides with a fork. If it's still hard it needs to cook a while longer.
