1pizza crust(either make it with our recipe or purchase a naked crust from Cappello's)
1jar sugar-free tomato based pizza sauce
2big handfuls of greens(we love arugula or spinach)
1package pepperoni(look for a brand without sugar added)
1/2lbcooked breakfast sausage(you can buy pre-cooked and just break it up into smaller pieces or make your own with ground pork and our recipe)
1cupmushrooms- sliced into thin pieces
1/4piecesonion- sliced into thin
3-4eggs
2tbspfresh basil- chopped into ribbons
Instructions
Either start by making your pizza crust or pull your frozen crust out of the freezer.
Also, either make your breakfast sausage or break your already made sausage into small pieces.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
If you made your crust, it is already on a baking sheet or pizza stone. If you are using a Cappello's crust, you don't need to put it on a baking sheet. It can go directly on the oven rack.
Layer your toppings in the order of the ingredients listed above, starting with the tomato based pizza sauce, reserving the fresh basil for the very end to garnish. You'll just crack your eggs right onto your pizza.
Once topped, place your pizza in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes. If your eggs aren't quite finished cooking to your desired level after 20 minutes, turn the oven to broil and continue to cook for an additional minute or two.
Remove from oven, and let your pizza cool for a minute or two. Cut your pizza into slices and serve! Enjoy this yummy breakfast pizza for dinner! Or breakfast!
