Cooked in the best sticky sauce, this simple honey garlic pan fried shrimp is a quick and easy dinner delight! Using only 5-ingredients, this shrimp coated in a savory-sweet sauce cooks up in around 10 minutes.
Whisk the coconut aminos, 1 tbsp olive oil, honey and garlic together in a small bowl.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil. Once the pan is hot, place the shrimp in the skillet.
Dump the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat.
Cook shrimp on one side until pink, about 1-2 minutes, then flip and cook on the other side for 1-2 minutes. At this point the shrimp will be cooked, and the sauce will be slightly runny. You can stop cooking now and serve, or see the recipe notes below to continue cooking and thicken/caramelize the sauce.
Serve shrimp immediately. You can dump any of the remaining honey garlic sauce from the pan on top of the shrimp for serving.
Notes
In step four, if you wish to thicken/caramelize the sauce, just continue cooking until the sauce reduces down and thickens. You'll need to stir the sauce around frequently to prevent it from burning. Cook for about an additional 4-5 minutes, until the sauce reduces down and coats the shrimp with the sticky-sweet sauce.
