Delicious smoked shrimp with a tangy garlic marinade. An easy smoker recipe, just follow the step-by-step instructions for how to smoke shrimp and enjoy this flavorful shrimp for an appetizer or main dish.
Make the marinade by combining all of the marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisking well.
Place shrimp in the marinade and mix to coat. Marinade while the smoker heats up.
Preheat smoker, grill or pellet grill to 225° Fahrenheit.
Carefully place the shrimp directly on the grill grates to smoke. Alternatively, you can place the shrimp on a grilling pan and place the pan on the grill grates.
Smoke shrimp for 25-35 minutes at 225°, or until they are pink and cooked through. Check the smoker after 15-20 minutes as shrimp is easy to overcook. Watch it carefully and remove it as soon as it is pink outside and the flesh turns opaque. Remove and serve immediately.
