This spaghetti bolognese made with ground chicken is a total game-changer! The scratch homemade sauce is so easy to make with less than 10-ingredients. It's the perfect healthy spaghetti dinner for the whole family.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add in the oil. Once the pan is hot, add in the garlic and onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Break it up into small chunks and season it with the sea salt and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking, gather the remaining ingredients.
When the chicken is cooked, add in the chicken broth. Scrape up the bits from the bottom of the pan with a spoon or spatula.
Add in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir to mix. Bring the sauce mixture to a quick simmer and turn it down to low so it's just bubbling. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, to let the flavors meld. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti noodles as instructed on the package. Drain the noodles and serve the noodles with bolognese sauce.
