These kid-friendly ground chicken nuggets are a little crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Made with simple seasonings and only a few ingredients, you can feel good about feeding these healthy chicken nuggets to your family.
2cupsgluten-free breadcrumbs(or regular if you don't need gluten-free)
2tspgarlic powder
2tsppaprika
2tspparsley
1tspsalt
1tsppepper
2eggs
Olive oil spray
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish or plate, mix together the breadcrumbs, spices, salt and pepper.
Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
Preheat your oven to 400° Fahrenheit.
Form the ground chicken into round, flat nuggets. You should make approximately 25-30 nuggets. Place the nuggets on the baking sheet.
Now, dip one of the chicken nuggets in the egg mixture and cover completely. It should be well coated.
Next, dredge the egg covered chicken in the breadcrumb mixture and make sure it is completely coated. Place the coated chicken nugget back on the baking sheet.
Repeat until all of the chicken nuggets are coated.
Spray the chicken pieces with some olive oil or avocado oil spray if desired to help them get golden brown (optional).
Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken pieces are completely cooked through. Remove and serve.
